Child

Child

I hear my child cry

He cries at night, so do I

We cry every night

But my child won’t stop

All night, I hear him crying

Nothing I can do

He just cries all night

Now I’m really more scared than sad

No one can help me

I know what to do

I can make the crying stop

It will be okay

Now he does not cry

Because we sleep together

Six feet underground

This is my own creation and was Inspired by this two sentence story:

My daughter won’t stop crying and screaming in the middle of the night. I visit her grave and ask her to stop, but it doesn’t help.

I don’t know the original author of this so I can’t properly cite it sorry. Line was taken from: http://thoughtcatalog.com/michael-koh/2013/07/40-freaking-creepy-ass-two-sentence-stories/

This attempt at a Haiku was transferred from an old blog of mine.

UPDATE: This is a rare entry. The rest of my entries will most likely not be in Haiku format (but I will still try to do some in this format from time to time because they are fun). Hope you enjoyed!
